Your Road to Recovery

What You Need to Know

After a motor vehicle accident, it is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible, even if symptoms are not immediate. Injuries such as whiplash, concussions, and soft tissue damage may develop days later, and early assessment can help prevent long-term complications. Below are answers to common questions to help you better understand your care and recovery.

When should I start treatment?

Ideally, it is best to begin treatment as soon as possible after an accident. Early care can help reduce pain, prevent complications, and support a faster recovery.

Do I need a referral to start treatment?

No referral is required. You can contact us directly to book your appointment. We will guide you through the process and assist with insurance paperwork to make your recovery as smooth as possible.

Will my treatment be covered by auto insurance?

Yes, in Ontario, accident related treatments are covered through auto insurance under the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS), regardless of who was at fault. We offer direct billing and assist with managing all required forms on your behalf.

Do you help with insurance paperwork?

Yes, we take care of insurance paperwork and communicate directly with your adjuster. We also help complete all necessary paperwork, depending on your injury and treatment requirements.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment for direct billing?

For your first MVA appointment, please bring the date of your accident, your insurance company name, policy number, and claim number.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

Your first visit will include a detailed comprehensive assessment with one of our qualified practitioners. Based on the examination findings, we will develop a personalized treatment plan and begin your care accordingly.

What types of injuries do you treat?

We treat a wide range of accident related injuries, including whiplash, neck and back pain, soft tissue and bone injuries, muscle strains and any head related injuries such as concussions, headaches and dizziness.

Can I receive more than one type of treatment?

Yes, many patients benefit from a multidisciplinary approach. Our team works together to combine services such as chiropractic and massage therapy for coordinated, effective care.

How long will my recovery take?

Recovery time varies for each individual. Some patients improve within a few weeks, while others may require longer-term care. We regularly reassess your progress and adjust your treatment plan to support continued improvement.
